They're called drip clips
Just got these today at "www.rvsurplus.net" They are white plastic clips that are 3 inches long that have a channel in them. You clip them on to your gutter spout. They fit very very tight. These babies won`t fly off while on the highway. To channel the water away from the sides. You get 4 of them in a pack for 7 bucks. Also picked up 2 anode rods from the same place.2 for 16 bucks.

it's funny...I've always used clothes pins for the same thing, but the last time I had a leak in the back compartment...the dealer tried telling me that it was caused by the clothes pins! I just laughed at him as he had no clue. they were just trying to blame it on something instead of finding the real problem!

The 2005 has these as part of the gutter. We had always used clothes pins also. No need now.

I had just put those on my list of things to buy this spring when I bring the coach out of storage. Looks like I will be getting them sooner. Thanks for the link.

Called R.V. Surplus to order some of the "drip clips"--$6.99 is a good price for them, but shipping charges are $20.00--so I'll continue to use clothespins. Maybe some of the local R.V. dealers will carry them.

Been using clothes pins for nearly a year and only ever lost 2 and that was my fault for getting a bit too close to a huge bush. I'll stick with the cheap clothes pins.

Thanks for the terrific link--lotsa good stuff. As always with mail order you gotta watch out for inflated shipping costs. These RV suppliers have to remember that their purchasers aren't ALL made of money. Would like to give it a try though!

I thought the shipping was pretty steep at $8.36 but we have been loosing close-pins so couldn't resist the drip clips. Also got this Power Max Adapter https://www.rvsurplussalvage.com/cat...roduct_id=1340 I would be curious if anyone else has ever used it and any comments on it. thanks

I have one of those...used it when the trailer (my last trailer (Sportsmen), it doesn't fit my 50A cord as you know...) was in the driveway on house power...worked good.

Is it supposed to supply 30 amps from that adapter or is it just adapting to a 15amp outlet? Reason I ask is the two sets of prongs on the 15amp side. I don't see how it could supply 30amps since both outlets are probably on a single 15amp circuit. Or 20, as the case may be. Am I missing something?

It supplies whatever the outlet you're plugged into supplies as it is only a passive device designed to tie together both outlets into one...
Did that help? Not sure I answered your question...

Perhaps I should have given more of an explanation on the $20.00 shipping of the "drip clips"--the gentleman said that they do not use regular mail--only UPS, and the minimum charge for package delivery by UPS is $20.00. I asked him could he just put them in a heavy envelope and put them in the mail--he said they do not use regular mail.. Sounded strange to me, but I guess they usually ship more than just 1 small package. He was nice in his explanation, but it still does not really make sense to me.

Sounds a little fishy to me. I ordered Street Atlas 2005 today from DeLorme. UPS Ground is costing me five bucks.

I went back in the archives for this original post. With all the snow and melts we've had I just wanted to share what a great investment these "drip clips" have been. They shoot the water a good couple feet away from the trailer and I've no black streaks since cleaning the sides 3 months back...
