rubber roofs
We own a 2005 Montana 2950RK which we like very much. This past week while cleaning roof and unit for winter,I found pit marks on the right front section of the roof just ahead of the shower. They look like small holes. So far no leaks, I called my dealer to look at it,and after dropping it off for inspection and pictures I was told that they were caused by scrapes,rubbing,critters but not any fault of the roof. (what a surprise) The trailer does not sit under any trees and there are no rub marks on it,so the roof manufacturer will not warranty it. There decision is by looking at pictures that were downloaded to them. My question is has anyone else had these holes or pits on ther roofs ? and what was the result ?

Just an update, since the dealer and the roof company said it could have been holes from birds pecking at the roof or a critter biting at the bubbles, I called my insurance company and after inspecting it they agreed with the determination and will repair any damages. So,making sure you have good coverage on your unit is of the utmost importance and quite a relief from a money standpoint.
