3121RL Lippert Hydraulic Slide Out Parts/Adjust
Hello everyone,
I am about to go read up on adjustments to my main Living/Dining Room hydraulic slides on the Lippert website/youtube. Can one of you experts take a look at these photos? I'm not familiar with the exact part but it looks like a spacer on the left side which is loose and the gear is misaligned/off center.
So, if I need parts I can certainly replace what's needed, the Lippert website isn't the easiest to navigate but has anyone seen this which I suppose just happens over time?
Thanks very much everyone here has helped me so many times before and I have learned SO much along the way
i actually found some Lippert documentation on these gear packs for a 2x2 through frame hydraulic system which is the one I'm pretty sure I have. Just not sure if I need a new gear pack.

Lippert gear pack replacement?
In my 3121RL - has anyone ever had to replace theirs? Not finding any Lippert instructions specifically for this.

This PDF will tell you how to determine if you have a 2x2 or 2.5x2.5 thru the frame slide out
https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws...cd-0001908.pdf
Looking at your pics I see nothing wrong with the gear packs.l would be checking side to side adjustment and loosen the two carriage bolts for that guide bar and center it to the gearpack as well as side to side clearance thru the exterior wall…

thanks
Thanks Chuck!
I was trying to locate the right part number so I could have a spare gear pack on hand, so I will follow through on what you've sent.

I have done this many times.. I think im starting to get to be an expert at it.. Is your slide skipping, or popping. Look at the top of the rail where it goes into the tube. It must be flat and tight . If not you can try to bend the tube back .. They also make a bracket that is supposed to keep the teeth from skipping over the gear pack.. What you will need... 1 a jack and a 4x4 piece of wood. this takes the weight off the gear pack.. I use a cordless drill ... 7/16 socket and ratchet... 2 9/16 socket and ratchet.. looks like you are working on the RAM side.. Lift the end of the rail with the jack and wood.. take 7/16 bolt out of the timing rail near the gear pack.. Remove the bolts for the gear pack and the pack will come down.. Reverse to reinstall.. To align the timing bar bolt there is a hole opposite of the timing hole ... you can use a screwdriver to aling the hole to the rail...

Another gear cog just broke...
I have replaced gears on my dinette / theatre seating slide out on 2-3 different occasions. I just had another one break yesterday. Not sure what keeps causing these to break. This slide does not have much weight on it - unlike the opposite slide that has the residential refrigerator, 24" free-standing GE oven, convection microwave, TV, fireplace and pantry. Maybe the bar that connects the two gears is slightly twisted out of alignment.

is it both sides or one.?? check the tubes that the square bar goes into.. Also, check to see if you are using grade 8 bolts on the timing tube..

It is just the one side. The bolts in the timing bar don't break - neither do the bolts on the gears. It's the cogs on the gears that break. I'll check the tubes that to see if they are square - but I think they are - last time I replaced one.
