Has anyone camped near Torch Lake in upper Michigan and if so can you recommend a place to stay. We pull a 35' Montana 5ver.

There is a campground on Torch Lake called Lake Linden village campground. We have never stayed there, but did drive through it a few times and it looks nice.
We stay at McLain state park that is located just north of Houghton/Hancock and is on Lake Superior. Either one will handle your rig.

Yes there is two Torch lakes in Michigan. The one up here is in the Keweenaw peninsula near the town of Lake Linden.

When we were up there we stayed a little farther north in Petoskey, at the Sun Outdoors. Wonderful place. 100% paved. No gravel or mud. All full hookups, and spectacular landscaping. It's about 35 mile drive to torch lake, but it is very nice.

Not exactly right there, but Baraga State Park is at the base of the peninsula and Fort Wilkins State Historic, clear out on the tip.
