Anyone have a good idea or cleaner for removing bug splatter from the front of RV

Yes try Purple Power. It’s available at Advance auto and cost less than $10 a gallon.
Dilute it 30 to 50 % purple power to water. Spray it on brush gently let it set a few minutes rinse it off repeat if necessary. I’ve used it for 40 years never hurt anything. It’s the best wheel cleaner I’ve ever used.

We always wet the cap when we reach our destination, get out a Bounce dryer sheet, wipe the soggy dryer sheet over all the bugs, and then they will all come off after very little scrubbing. Then rinse off. Works on truck front too. Amazing how it works.

Purple Power works great! I use it for nearly all my outside cleaning. After washing the Monty yesterday I dumped the diluted purple Power into my pressure washer and cleaned the driveway, patios, and deck. Thanks Lynwood for the earlier recommendation!

I just take down the bug banner and the glass is clean, the rest I can reach from the ground takes all of 5 minutes....

We use Goo Gone on our TV Traveller and on our Impala. Takes off sap and bugs, too.

What won't come off with a brush I get off with a dryer sheet.

Another vote here for a dryer sheet. It's amazing how effortlessly it removes bugs! Oh, and they're cheap too!

The stuff works great on everything that I have ever tried it on. I have Weathertech floor liners in all of my vehicles. They get dark stains where your foot sets after a while. Spray it on hose it off, the stain is gone. I’ve bought tire cleaner, bug removed. I have a box full of all of that stuff and none of it has ever worked better than Purple Power and cost ten times more.
It comes in gallon jugs and and small bottles. The small ones probably cost in the neighborhood of $3. If you try it you wont use nothing else and for $3 dollars what do you have to loose.

Dawn Platinum 4 works great. I mix Dawn and water 20/80 and spray on bugs, black marks and oil/grease prior to washing, everything comes off easy. I also used a 2/98 mix to wash the entire coach, it is very effective on getting the black road grime that builds up on the silicone caulking that is around the lights and moldings, makes it look like new. It is strong but very gentle.

Great idea, is that just a regular tarp held in place with bungee cords? Can’t really tell from the one and sideways picture. Lol

No, it’s a complete system. Banner, pulleys, some bungees and a locking system. I’ll include the link. It does give some protection for smaller rocks. 7000 miles in 5 weeks and the glass was always clean.

cleaning bugs

I purchased a extension handle with a bug sponge, the one you see at truck stops to wash the windows on a big truck. I keep my cap waxed. When I get to my next destination I always have a hose hooked up and I spray off my cap and use the bug sponge and extension handle. Works great, I do not let the bugs dry too many days.

I use Bugs’n All or Zip Wax or Spray Nine. Bugs’n All is the best but it isn’t cheap. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute and brush with a standard car wash brush. Should be good as new.
