Exterior vent for range

2017 310 RE......Our range Exhaust is ducted to the inside,I would like to duct to the outside.Has anyone made this mod a DIY or had it done? There is cabinet space right above the micro so I’m guessing I could easily access the duct outside from here. Our micro is a High Pointe and not sure if I can change the venting.Any advice would be appreciated.

Ours is also not vented. Was told to use the ceiling vent as an exhaust fan

You would have to look at the microwave docs to see if it has a plate that can be shifted to vent out the back instead of the front. Or if you really want the vent, switch to a microwave than ca.

Am new to Montanna’s And my first quip is why didn’t they vent the hood to the outside! The expert went outside and said it is — all you need to do is open the two tiny side latches that keep it from flapping on the road, in storage and/or during high winds! Works great unlatched! Otherwise vents down onto the stove!

You should have a vent from the back of the convection oven/ microwave, it has tabs to keep it closed but some small stick on magnet tape works great. Just have to mess with until figure out how big to cut it.

This is one of the many little items that go un-noticed with the newer trailers ( especially the HC). They get your attention with all the tech bells and whistles, and the really important stuff is not there.

As long as there is not an aluminum stud where the vent would exit, it should be doable.
