We are baaaaaack............

What a fabulous first big trip with Monty. After the rally we headed out to Ohio to visit with family and Virginia to pay our respects at numerous Civil War sites. Thank you Marshall for your insight. Virginia is an absolutely beautiful state with many gracious people. We were very pleased with Monty and tow vehicle performance. No major issues just the annoying dinette slide leak.

On our return home we spent a night at Play-mor. The owners were just as friendly and provided same level of service as they did for our rally. Really are a great bunch of folks. However, it was soooo lonely without our fellow rally participants.

Looks like there has been lots of activity on MOC and I have lots of catch up to do. Oh dear, where do I begin?? I am so excited to be back on line that my fingers are shaking on my keyboard! Definitely a case of MOC withdrawal.

Welcome back, Vickster! You were missed. We agree about Virginia. Really a beautiful state with lots and lots of history. We never tire of visiting there. With granddaughters in the DC area we have an opportunity to visit VA every year.

I was wondering where you got to. You were definitly missed.
Gotta agree with you and Steve about Virginia. We were there this spring and did most of the cavarens and some of the Civil War stuff. Gotta return next year (maybe the MOC Virginia Chapter rally) to finish the tour.

We need to hear more! What Civil War sites did you visit? We want to make that trip one day soon and would love to hear your expert opinion on what to see and where to stay.
