Has anyone put washer in model 2955 /2005?

Just curious if anyone has put a washer dryer combo in the 2955. Does not look like the closet in the bedroom is wide enough though it has plenty of room.

Yes we have a w/d combo in the bedroom closet under the TV and very pleased with it. We bough and had it installed by the dealer. Camping World has them and usually at a reasonable price and once in awhile have them on sale. We have a pre 10th anniversary 2008.

We have an older model 2955 2005 that has the corner TV cabinet. Our friends have the same model you have 2008 and they do have the washer/dryer in the closet. They turned that cabinet and have room for it. Wish ours was turned also. Just wondered if anyone put one in an older 2955.

cdaniels, glad you posted the question. We have a 2001 2955 and I would really like to have a combo unit, but don't know if it would work. I'm interested to hear if anyone else has done it.

We actually went and looked at 3075 but honestly love our's and for the difference in money.... decided to keep what we have but no washer/dryer! Last year when we went on vac. it was a bear trying to get the laundry done. Everytime you went they where in use. So I am hopeful someone has been creative. Keeping my fingers crossed!

cdaniels,
Sounds simplistic, but the easiest answer may be a measuring tape. Spendide.com is the website for the Splendide combos and the specifications and dimensions are avaialble on the web-site. Hope this helps, btw, DW would never do without on-board washing and drying, the laundromats where we usually vacation are not a fun place to visit unless you like to go in the middle of the night!!

That was one of the features of the later Montana's that pushed us to sell our 2003 2955. I looked seriously at trying to get one to fit. The biggest hassle was getting the drain installed properly, not to mention pulling hot/cold water and electric.

I think it was a good move for Montana to add the capability to all models.

Brad,
Obviously you did not have the proper female over-the-shoulder supervision at that time or you would have "got 'r dun"!! Ha Ha!

Bingo - no kidding! It would have dumped right out through floor onto the street, and I would have garden hoses and an extension cord running from the bathroom sink like a dishwasher , but it would have been operable!
