I'm definately a Newbie!
I am looking forward to retiring in the Fall, 2021. I bought a 2016 Montana Hickory. This summer I'll have it on a annual site in Atlantic Beach NC next to family members and first grandchild. I'll need advice and look forward to learning as I go.

Welcome to the forum. You will get lots of "advice" here.
When ever you do ask for advice, please include the year and model # of your RV. Again, welcome and happy camping.

Welcome and whatever you do, be patient and don't panic when something doesn't seem right with your new camper. It takes time to figure things out, both nice good changes, and fixing repairs. It is always a learning experience. About the time you THINK you've got things figured out, these campers have a way of throwing a new "wham-bang" at you, and you feel like a newbie again.
So, don't get overwhelmed, just enjoy it! The mechanics of your new camper is half the fun. The other half is actually using it.
So, with all that said, welcome to the forums, and ... May your learning experiences be delightful and your bloopers be none!

Welcome aboard! We were all newbies at one time or another. I find that after 40 years of trailering that I still learn new things on this forum. Don't hesitate to jump right in to ask and share.

Welcome to retirement. DW and I retired in 2016 at age 60 and never looked back. We just started traveling more and enjoy it. We are currently camped out at the Isla Blanca RV park in S. Padre Island for 30 days. What a hoot!! Enjoy!!

Welcome to the forum from upstate NY and currently GA. We love Charleston where our daughter lives and have enjoyed stops in NC also. Congrats on retirement and the new to you 5er. That's a good year you bought, still relatively new but broke in so all those pesky first year factory issues should already be taken care of. The rest you can fix with the help of folks here on this forum. I have saved so much time and trouble by asking questions here. What ever your issue chances are someone here has been there.
Enjoy.
Life is good.
