A pix would help or a good description of those black knobs. Could be to secure the reefer doors.

More than likely, they are for securing the refrigerator door. Is your refrigerator a Samsung? Here's how it works:
If yours came with 2 of them, then the shorter one is for propping the doors open when the refrigerator is turned completely off. The longer one is to keep the doors shut when traveling.
Hope this helps.

I discovered that because of the way ours was made, it did not do a good job keeping the doors closed. I added a home-made washer from a piece of UHMW I had laying around to better secure doors while traveling

HBR509, those look like leveling pegs/brakes for the front of refrigerator. Most likely used to take it off the front rollers. They screw into black heavy metal brackets in front of the rollers. If you take off the kick plate, you can see where they go. On ours, they would do little as they would make contact with a 1x2 piece of trim that is stapled to the kitchen slide so best to keep the weight on the front rollers and hope the big brackets attached to the rear wall of the slide don't come loose.

We had both the longer one and shorter one for our fridge. The longer bolt one secures the fridge with doors closed during travel. The shorter one goes in the same place with the doors open when stored. This allows the fridge to "air out" and not get mold when in storage and not running. The short length prevents the doors from closing and gives an air gap so the fridge doesn't close and seal. Our old RV fridge in previous TT had sliding plastic clips on the door for the same purpose.

I put an old CD on mine (playing surface toward the frig), gives it more surface area and does not scratch.
I also found that when tightening the nob down pulling it out while tightening keeps it from scratching, the band it screws into is flexible.

I built a new lock screw that can also be used to prop the doors open at storage. It has a washer to hold them open and another to hold them closed. I got tired of pool noodle pieces taped to to the doors in storage. I woud post a pic, but my 5th wheel is still safely inside at our friendly local toy storage facility. It is really spoiled.

Yes, they are the front leveling legs. Took me a year to learn that. I also modified the large knob to secure the doors while traveling. I lean on the doors while I screw that in to prevent the Teflon washer from rubbing on the door while I tighten it.
I use one of the small knobs to hold the doors open a crack while not in use in the driveway to eliminate mold build up.

Found out the hard way today with a mess all over the floor. Keystone strikes again. 21/2 hour floor clean up after the refrig door open over the black knob. Great idea and I'll be sure its in place before we leave for Las Vegas in a few days.
