New 5th wheeler hi

Hello everyone I’m TAC, just retired after 40+ years of nursing (including 26 years in AF Nurse Corps) and bought a Montana 3931FB which was delivered to an RV park here in SC. Moved with my 4 dogs and cat from California in my SUV. Living in the RV while I find my permanent home. I love this 3931FB, it’s very comfortable, all works well (especially after I learned a few simple RV things with help from the dealership service guys—thanks to them. I’m not miss mechanical! 🤪
Hope to get a home and a truck (rig) to travel in the west with the RV, eventually. I have a little trepidation about driving a 41 and 1/2 foot rig but I can pretty much do anything when I put my mind to it. More to come in this forum when I hit the road. Happy Travels everyone.

Welcome to the MOC. Every single person here started out never having RV’d. Some of us have just been at it longer. Good luck with your travels. I suggest that as soon as you are Mobile you start attending rallies. It is a great way to meet people and learn. Safe travels.

Welcome to the forum! Learning to pull one of these is just a matter of practice and an empty parking lot is a great place to start. One of the hardest things to learn in the begining is how far the back swings out on turns in gas stations etc.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I progressed from everything starting with a pup tent. Never had a class A, B, or C. Enjoy your new condo on wheels. Home is where ever you unhitch.

Is TAC Tactical Air Command? Thank you for serving. Honorable profession. A former vet and have safe travels when you are mobile.
