a very busy year!
well, after fulltiming for the past 12 years, we kinda settled down in a place we like. last november was the end of our fulltimng days and we did really enjoy those years. we bought 1 1/2 acres in the country (21 miles to wallyworld and nearest grocery!) a little place called Beech Grove tn. many of you that travel I-24 will see the sign at exit 97, Bell buckle & Beech Grove. Horse country! We still rv in the monty, going to shows and such. Nancy and I had a very nice garden this year, a cottage garden with flowers and veggies. Always wanted a cottage garden, and I mention it to a friend, he said, Tom you can't have a cottage garden without a cottage, so Nancy and I built a "cottage" lol, its only 683 square feet living space, with a 12x16 screen porch overlooking the garden and of course the songbirds. Have fishing lakes all around us. a 100 acre lake 1/4 mile from the house.
Nancy and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary july 28th (we went steady 3 yrs in high school) So she's been "boss" for over 53 years! Then august we went to Nancys 50th school reunion. It has been a good year and has been many years. anyway, for anyone that wants to take a stroll in the cottage garden here is the site..
where we spent alot of time this year! thanks for taking the time with me

Beautiful garden Tom and I see you also have your bird carvings. I have missed your carving updates on the forum. Congrats on your new cottage.

thanks to all for the nice compliments. John (sailor) when we go to maggie valley, we have been staying at Cross Creek cg. It is really nice and mg really nice. plus the price is much cheaper than the other! Anytime you up this way john just give us a yell. I even have an extra rv hookup with water, elec, sewer. about 8 miles off of I-24
