Temperpedic Beds
Hi Gang, my wife and I have decided its time for a new bed in our trailer, we have a Sleep number in the house but I am not that sold on it, so today we went and looked at Memory foam type beds. Talk about sticker shock ...wow, we first went to sears and looked at the ( i comfort)nice and comfortable and right at 1800.00, next we went to try the ( Temperpedic)liked it as well , and it has a better warranty, however the price for this little gem is......3599.00 and this is just the Mattress no base.
My question is do any of you have this Bed, and if so can you give me your opinion about how well it is working out, does it seem to get hot , or have lumps in it over time? We aren't afraid to spend good money for a good bed , but we don't want to end up with something we will have to replace anytime soon. Thanks ....Scott

Scott,
We bought the memory foam mattress from Costco, $499. for our Monty. We liked it so much that we bought another one for the house. Yes, they are a little warm when its hot, but I just push the AC down a little bit, its 2 years old and no lumps or anything.
If you have a Costco, check theirs out.

We have a Tempurpedic at home and it has worked out very well for us...no lumps, sags, or any of the other problems associated with the other mattresses we have tried. As far as being "warm," we have not noticed any issues in that regard. We, too, have considered the Tempurpedic for our Montana, but I am afraid it may be too heavy for the frame.

We only have a Sam's Club near us and they have a memory foam cover for an existing mattress. The foam top is about 3". They also have the full memory foam mattress. Anyone using the cover type?

We tried the 3 inch topper from Costco in our Wildcat, it was just OK. But after 3 years, we went with the full foam mattress and really liked it a lot better.
LOL, come on over, we have a Costco pretty close to home, I'll take you over. )

We recently purchased the Seally Embody and are very pleased with it. The Embody does not feel warm like some of the other so it is more comfortable to us.

We just purchased the Topper from Costco for our New 5er cause the Mattress it came with leaves little to be desired. But the topper makes all the difference in the world.

We have a Tempurpedic at home also and are very pleased with it so far. But it is very heavy and large.
We have a 3" memory foam topper on the bed in the trailer. And I like it about as well as the Tempurpedic at home. Had to round off the foot corners on the topper to match mattress. Couldn't very do that with a full mattress.

We just added the Costco "blue foam" pad to our OEM mattress and really like the difference it made. Costco has a lot of other mattress and topper options on its web site, most with free shipping. There is NO unpleasant smell from our foam topper. I trimmed it to match the curved corners using only a butcher knife. The process was easy and took less than 10 minutes.

We have had the Temperpedic now for about 8 years at home...love it! Get's a little warm in summer but well worth the money for my back after 2 surgeries. We then purchased 2 memory foam toppers from Sam's Club for the camper and have used those for the past 6 years. We wouldn't use anything else!!!

12 inch memory foam mattress from Costco for $499.00. We love it. 2 years and still as good as new. We tried toppers before, they were a waste of money for us.

We just purchased a BedBoss foam mattress. Similar to the Tempupedic but cost is much less. Search the web for it and locations where it might sold locally.
