Wow really looks great. We also have a 3582 and I think that my DW will add to my honey do list.

Despite my attempt at DW humor earlier, I was brave and showed your handiwork to her. I think we will be duplicating your mod on the new rig after arrival. There is a black, gray, white alternative that we think will work wonders on the transition from the stainless steel cooktop and dishwasher drawer to the black microwave. Hope ours comes out looking as great as yours!

I won't show this mod to the DW but I'll bet she sniffs it out on her own. Oh well, you can't fish everyday. It does look really nice though.

Bingo, when you are ready to get yours let me know and Ill pm what we did to get them. Yes they have all sorts of colors and styles. The colors we got go really well with our décor without being gawdy. This goes for anyone else also.

Really like your addition. Am going to check our Lowes and Home Depot. Hope they have them in the store so I can look at them. Great job.

Have been checking to see if these tiles were available locally but apparently not. . . I think there would be a lot if interest in these and think this would be a good product to see at the rally. I Wish they could come to Goshen. I saw these tiles in either a Cedar Creek or Alpine this week and they looked really nice. Wish I could find them locally to look at.

Carole, call the company and see if she will send you a sample. The girls on the phone can speak French/English. Just tell them you would like to see some before laying out the money. They can even sell you just one piece and you can go from there. If you don't like them you can always cut them and use for surface savers. They stick to almost anything. I think one piece would be like 5.00 and some change. Here's their #Toll Free: 1-877-784-2733. Go online to their web page and pick a color you may like first. Good luck.

Thanks for info. I did call the company this morning. They were very helpfu and I found 4 stores in Alabama that may have them. One is in Birmingham and one in Foey Alabama. They are convenient to me. Will be looking for the tiles after the rally. I can get samples from Smart Tiles for $2 each, and I may do that.. Hope to find them soon. Can't tell from pics on line which one I like enough to order. Thanks again.

Very nice. Several manfacturers are including them in their trailers.
One thing to keep in mind- they can fall under their own weight when it gets hot. While we were shopping 5ers this summer, we walked into a couple that had the acrylic tiles sheets falling off the walls. They were high dollar units, too. My wife turned around and walked out. Wouldn't even look past the curling tile sheets!

Good to know. The company did tell me that you could use a hair dryer to remove them, so it makes sense. Went out to
measure yesterday and decided I really like my wall just the way it is. I think the tile looks really nice though. I stand my sink covers behind my stove
top and am really careful when I cook so while it's still new, think I will leave it as is, maybe later.

Prep work is important!!! If things peel or curl, there's a great chance the prep work was either not done, or not thorough enough. When the adhesive cures to the surface it's hard to believe it will come off unless the prep work was less than desired.
For example the acylic tile work done on that wall would require extension prep to clean off the dust, dirt, grime, grease, etc. from that wall. Otherwise the adhesive will not cure correctly.
