Independent Suspension

I am interested in upgrading to IS this fall but have a question. What brand is your IS suspension, and who installed it?

I have Mor/Ryde IS and Hydraulic Disc brakes. After towing with both I would not be without them on this heavy unit.

Mor/Ryd installed before last years Rally with the Rally discount. Saved a bunch of money. We also got the disk brakes at the same time.

Mor-ryde and disc here also. Be aware that Booneville RV in Booneville Mo. has a different IS suspension that you may want to look at. http://www.boonvillervservicecenter.com

I don't see any IS on that site. Neither suspension systems they show are independent, they both still have the straight axle tube that runs across the trailer.

I have made my appointment with Mor-Ryde for the week before the rally. Now I just need to find someone who wants to buy one of my kidneys.

True, but you'll be happy you did it. One word of caution, if you stay overnight in the shop be advised that the guys in the manufacturing side start work at about 5am and while they aren'r right next door their air compressor (about the size of a train engine) is. Unless you can take hearing aids out, you will be up early.

We did the Mor/ryde IS upgrade with Disc brakes on our Montana and tried to get the Mfr of our SOB to send it to Mor/ryde, but a no go, so we were there this past spring getting our SOB upgraded with the IS only as we did have factory installed Disc.

We had MOR/ryde individual suspension installed in September 2003 and this turned out to be a valuable addition. Didn't have enough funds to install the disc brakes or we would've done that too.
