Fantastic Fan and MaxAir covers
Can anyone tell me if the standard MaxAir covers work over the factory fan in the kitchen area? Thanks
Ken

We use them on both of our vents. Fantastic fan didn't make covers ( I don't believe) back when we bought the rig and had ours put on.

I think you need the Fan/Mate Rain Cover for High Powered Ceiling Fan
Camping World #CW6600R-4174WH, (White One)
I just got a quote to install one

We have a fantastic fan cover over our fantastic fan. If you go to their website they show the difference in air flow with their cover versus a max air or regular cover. May not harm the fan but their cover appears to have much better air flow. YOUR CALL.

No question, if I was doing it now I'd get the fantastic fan cover, but they didn't make them when we put ours on.

I leave our fantastic fans without vent covers, but know several folks who have used the standard vent covers with their fantastic fans without any problems.

This is my neighbours setup here in the park. He said this was his answer as FF didn't have their own cover at the time either. This is over his auto fan that closes when it rains. It just rained and it remained open so rain didn't get to the sensor. I'm sure blowing rain would be another issue altogether.

I put the Max Air covers, the large ones, over my Fantastic Fans. Can now leave the fans open in windy conditions and rains.
Also when the trailer is stored the vents can be left open.
My lids used to stick, in hot weather, to the foam seal. No more as the lids don't get hot anymore.

Thanks for all of your help. I was looking at the Fantastic fan cover video. Hard to believe they have a cover that works that much better. Denfinger, is the fantastic fan cover screwed directly into the roof or into the vent frames like the MaxAir covers? Thanks
