Wyoming Question

We just had our reservations cancelled for one of the Wyoming State Parks. We found a private campground 10 miles away. Wyoming has a 14 day quarantine for anyone coming from out of state. I called to make sure I could still fish from my kayak (we have been quarantined at home since this started except for groceries and such). They could not tell me if we will be allowed to fish or not. When they cancelled our reservations, they kept the $7.75 transaction fee. Anyone from Wyoming know if they are making non-residents stay indoors for two weeks?

This is what is posted on their web site: https://wyoparks.wyo.gov/
No mention about whether you can fish coming from out of state.

Good luck, but right now, I'm not thinking Wyoming wants you to visit.

A while back they suspended sales of non-resident short term fishing licenses. They are still selling the annual license. I see a never ending parade of Wyoming plates in Colorado, but they don’t even want us to drive the 45 minutes to Cheyenne to shop. I finally got a call back from the Wyoming Parks. They expect to lift the 14 day quarantine order on 5/8. But, non-residents still can’t camp at Wyoming State Parks. I guess they figure we have a short term memory.

Lynwood -
I called them and they didn’t know. They replied a couple hours later. Sounds like we can fish starting the 8th - just can’t camp at the State Park. They are concerned about us mountain bound seniors from Colorado infecting their state. But, their people are coming into our state every day. And, they had an idiot healthcare worker that was exposed to Covid and given a test on a Friday. He went to several parties on the weekend. He came to work on Monday and found out he was positive for Covid. I can see why they want us to stay home now. It just hit me. They are worried about our health, not theirs.

What I understand, all state parks are day use only, then on 5/15 reservation only for residents, then who knows.
