I share your frustration, granted I don't know what a pin deck is either. I educated my salesman on the differences between 2017 and 2018 models. I also had to educate him on the different payloads a truck could safely handle. Thank goodness for the MOC and research!

RV sales should never discuss truck payloads (that would be a huge liability for them and their company), and we should never expect them to know. for example My 2019 Ram 3500 is available is a multitude of payloads as that varies by weight of options and model. It is the RV buyers job to know their payload limits or the truck sales person.

Have to agree with lightsout. I know an F350 SRW payload rating can vary over 1,000 lbs depending on configuration of cab, bed, engine, tires, drive train. I assume GM and Ram are similar. Ford web site has multiple charts on the subject.

Thanks man for your help. What my question was to my sales man was if because I have air ride bags on my truck in the rear where the 5th wheel hith is shout I get the Trail ride airbag pin box. He said that I had to find out some measurements of my "PIN DECK" from the top of the 5th wheel plate to the bottom of the pin box and then set the ppin deck to that setting, and on and on he went with this pin deck. I have been on 5 or 6 difference hitch sit and not one of the sites refer to a pin deck. I thank delivery of our 3931FB in 7 days.

I do know with my rig (3500 4X4 duel wheel) i can be 38900 lbs total weight of truck and trailer max. My 5th wheel hitch is B&W with a 30,000 lbs rating.
