We stayed at the Niagara Falls Campground on Niagara Falls Blvd (US 62) for a week in August. It was small but not uncomfortable, adequate for our 3400. 50 amp, small pool, if you have a Sat on the roof be sure to ask for a site that will clear the trees. Closest Park to the Falls, about 6 miles. I believe it was $258 for the week. We would stay there again.
If you go, take the van tour of the Falls ( $63. per) They take you around to all the must see sites on both the US & Canadian sides. Up in the Skyline tower as well as the Maid of the Mist are included. One couldn't hit all the tourist sites with admissions and parking for this price, and it lasts over 4 hours.
There are also quaint small villages to visit within driving distance on both the US and Canadian sides.

The KOA in Niagara Falls, ON is not bad, but it is close to a busy railway line if that bothers you.

I have heard that their rates have gone up considerably recently, so check that out.

we liked the NYS campground four mile creek. Very nice and cheap to boot. Electric only, but water and dump site availible. very nice, but windy and cool this time of the year. Very close (maybe 20 mins drive) and your campground pass also gets your parking at niagara falls as both are nys parks. see reserveamerica.com , then click on nys and then four mile creek.
