2014 Montana. Need to move only one living room slideout.

I am trying to move the slide in the living room with the desk and tv on it, but when I hit the button, the kitchen starts to move. I don't want to move everything out of the way just to move the slide 2-3" (something fell behind the seal, I need to get it out).

First off, where is the manual crank knob? I have the tool, but cannot find the crank screw.

2nd, I am assuming that the slides come in one at a time. Can I forcibly hold the other two out while hitting the button to force the one slide to move without the other two moving?

The hydraulic slides are all on the same system. The pressure moves the lightest slide first.

I don't know what manual crank you have but it doesn't work with the hydraulic system. To manually moves the slides, once again starting with the lightest, you use a drill with a 1/4" hex head inserted into the end of the pump.

You can not hold the slide back forcibly without a crowd of people. A much easier way is to use the valves outside in the panel with the Level-Up controls. There is a valve for each slide which will stop it from moving.

Hmmm. I need to check to see if my model has those valve switches. I will check this weekend (if it ever stops raining!)

Use the switch’s that Carl talked about. Should move easily and quickly.

Hmmm....I don't remember ever seeing those switches. I don't think I have them. At least not in that location. Could they be somewhere else in the rig?

Correction: I DO have those knobs. I have three. Any idea which one does what?

They are labeled DS, ODS1, and ODS2 with OFF below them.

Is this "Driver Side"?

Just a little experimentation...I turned them all off except for the one furthest to the rear of the trailer (the slide I want to move is all the way in the back). It WORKED!!!

Thanks for all the help!

They make a really nifty thing called a Sharpie, and on our panel, I wrote Kitchen, Bedroom, TV, and Sofa under the knobs. Sure is easier than messing around with all the DS and ODS. 😁

Are all the slides working properly? If so, just lock at which slides you don't want to move out....knobs are outside on your side panel for your legs...I assume you have the 6 point level system?

Do you have the 6 point leveling system?

What about the trailers that have doors on both sides?

I believe the earlier Front Living room models had a door in the bedroom that exited on the street side. That makes those models unique in having two DS's and ODS's.
