on board vac...

Has anyone had the in house vacuum system fail to go off? Ours came on after a short trip when I hooked up shore power and wouldn't shut off...No open access points. Had to use the breaker. Any thoughts anyone? 2018 3721RL

Sounds like the ON/OFF switch failed closed, and that"s why it stayed on. We got a Shark ION FLEX vacuum and have the built-in vacuum parts in storage. Don't have to fight the hose and have better suction.

Check the switch on the face of the actual unit that is located in the basement. I'm betting that switch is on and should only be on when using the hose to vacuum the basement.

If that isn't it then it's the switch on the little door you sweep the stuff off the floor into. We've had problems with that one off and on.
