Our Campbell-hausfeld 110PSI has worked well for past seven years. Inverter works while on the road.

I also purchased a Viair 400P RV compressor kit directly from Viair, 219.99. I have used it a couple of times and it is very fast and tough as nails. I have had several small compressors over the years and they were all junk. It is a little pricy but I guess this is the way I look at it, we spent 60,000 plus for a trailer and 60.000 plus for a tow vehicle so what's another couple hundred dollars for a dependable tool!

i bought a 150 psi Porter Cable air compressor from Home Depot for 99.00 . Lowes also sells the same one. If you have G rated tires then you need the 150 psi compressor so that you can inflate to 110 psi in the tires. Lowe's and Home Depot usually have these compressors at 99.00 this time of year. Several of our members have this same compressor. Good-Luck.

Which one are you going to buy? Another good point about the Viair is it runs from 12 volts.

First I will say that I have an 60 gal shop air compressor in my stick and brick that I use before trips if need be. I carry the good ole Harbor Freight 12 VDC high volume air compressor that I bought 8 years ago. Luckily I've used it maybe 4 times in that time frame, but it has worked well for me every time I clip it to the battery terminals. Oh ... and I didn't spend $100 - $200 for it either.

Viair sounds great but too expensive. I'm looking for the PC 150psi at HD.

I have a like new Viair 400p-rv that I will sell for $150 and split the shipping on. We no longer need it since we changed rigs. PM me if interested.
