Our 2005 3650

Our new 2005 is finially here. We actually went to Goshen to get it. We picked her up on May 12, and took her to the dealer in Council Bluffs, IA on the 13th and picked her back up on the 17th. Took her on the maiden vorage on the 22nd. A few problems but took it back a everything is fine now. They've made a few changes since the 04's; the fireplace is BEAUTIFUL!!! All oak & matel and surround oak on all slideouts, 6 panel door on the water closet, and tile looking panel in the shower. We didn't get the oven they promised but am getting used to the combo/mirco. We ordered in January they had sent one to our dealer but wasn't what we ordered. They offered us the 05 for the same $$$$ we didn't mind the wait to much We ordered the works so we wanted it done right. The slideouts all have awnings and they match! The patio awning has built in flappers on it. We are getting ready for a week long adventure to bond with our new wheel estate. We love our MONTANA!

Congratulations, David and Kim! That's really exciting.

Did you pick it up from the factory or from a dealer in Goshen? Last I heard they were not allowing private pickup so am wondering if maybe the backlog has changed that policy.

Do you know if your awning is an A&E brand or is it a Carefree? Montana has used A&E in the past, as far as I know, so am wondering if they switched. Reason I ask is the only awnings I am aware of that have built-in deflappers are the Carefree awnings. But maybe A&E has that, too, and I am not aware of it.

Thanks.

Congratulations. Hope you're out enjoying it!

I picked up the 3650 at the factory. Our dealer was not able to have it picked up so we picked it up ourselves. They told us about the situation with the lack of drivers and the person who was supposed the get it, ended up in the hospital.
The awnings are Carefrees because that was the only way we could get them to all match. We have the combo slidetopper/ window awnings on 2 slideouts and the slidetopper awnings on the other 2 slideouts.
