Water pump location?

We have a 2008 2955 Montana and I have wondered where the water pump is located and also if Keystone provided access when (not if) the pump fails. We went from a 2007 Outback and the pump replacement was difficult. I finally got a new pump installed by cutting in an access door from the storage area. Sounds like the pump is under the shower and is very loud. Anyone had to cross this bridge?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I have a 2010 3150RL. My water pump is right behind the service center. I have to remove the backside cover to access it. Not hard at all to access.
That sucker is NOISY!

Bill,
If I remember right, the water pump for the 08 2955RL is locate behind the panel on the curb side about where the round heat vent is located in the main bay. It is screwed to the floor at that point. Not a bad access.

X2 on Jolu's description. There are four screws which hold the bulkhead panel to the frame. Remove them and the panel to get *EASY* access to the water pump.

Most of us have installed a mouse pad under the pump to quiet it down. Additionally, there is a flexible line retrofit which also helps along with foam pipe insulation at points where the Pex lines touch things. You can't make the pump silent, but you can significantly reduce the noise level. I suggest you remove the panel and see what you have to work with. Bring a shop vac along as I bet there are still sawdust and wood chips left behind.

Thanks all for the info. I will venture over to the storage area and locate the pump. Always helpful people here.

Thanks again,

On the 2010 2955RL, it's located right behind the convenience center. Might want to crawl into the basement and have the other half turn the pump on, might help locate it by the vibration and noise.

Anyone know where the water pump access is for a 3820FK? Sounds like it is under the kitchen sink but we see no access.

Our 2005 2955RL had the water pump behind the panel next to the steps, pretty close to the old converter box. PS our 2005 2955 took us to Alaska and back with no problem, she was a great trailer!

It is behind the convenience center. Access is by removing the screws holding the white plastic panel on the left side.

I decided to install a Shurflo 4008 in place of the noisy flow-jet the factory installs. I don’t understand how they tout they are selling such a high quality product but they have such cheeses components.

I guess they assume anyone with a Montana generally plops them in a CG and doesn’t move them so there is no need for a good pump? Beats me bc that Flo-Jet is the worst one I have ever used

Mine on my 2018 3121RL was right behind the water dock, 3 screws and the panel came right off, odd location but what can you do, it is right there on the floor behind the water dock.
