Axle repair kits
I have a 2004 3295 with the alko axles. I called dexter and they said I should call alko. I went to their website and don't see repair kits like dexter. Has anyone done this with alko axles. My spacing on my axles are 35" if that helps. I need to get this done asap.

When I look at the AlKo site under parts locator, I find at least 5 business around the Elkhart area. If it were my problem, I would give one or more of them a call until I got my questions answered. A discussion with one of the tech guys may save you time and direct you to the best solution.

ronstan, what are you looking to do?? I have the Alko alxes and installed the Dexter "Wet" shackle kit w/o any issue. Are you doing a brake shoe replacement? That might be a reason to use Alko part...

We installed the E-Z Flex kit on our 04 3670 and it works great. We used the K-71 653-00 kit. Hope this helps. We bought it right from Dexter in Elkhart. Alko does not have anything like that for their axles.

Did you tell Dexter that you wanted to upgrade to their EZ Flex? When I called them to tell them what I wanted to do, they told me what kit to buy. At that time, I had AlKo axles. They need to know the axle spacing. Their site is fairly clear if you have that info. Charlie (8.1A) did what you want to do and probably has the part numbers.
When I posted earlier, I thought you wanted to work on the axles themselves rather than the shackles, wet bolts, and equalizers. Sorry.

Just need to measure the shackle width mine were 1-3/4" double eye then get a measurement for axle to axle spacing.
33" spacing
35" spacing
To fix this!

UPDATE
Brought the trailer home today. Took it in at 8:00 this morning was done by 2:30. I got the ezflex kit from a distributor here in Ft Wayne. It was quite a bit cheaper than what Dexter wants on their website. Cost 192 labor to have them put on. I was surprised that the other shackles were not hardly worn at all. I will get some pictures up eventually. Getting ready to go camping Wed. Thanks for all the info you guys gave.
