Thomas Payne dual recliner

Bought a 2017 High Country in October 2016. Put in storage at our house waiting for June 2017 to use it. On May 8, 2017, a catastrophic hailstorm hit the Denver area causing$11,600 worth of damage before we could even use our RV. Good Sam insurance would only cover repairs and provide warranty on the repairs, if Camping World did the repairs. Got on Camping World list and they got it in on 3/20/2018 and repairs were done on 5/22/2018. Therefore, we were unable to use our RV until 5/2018. We left Denver on 6/6/2018 for our first trip in our RV. Almost immediately, we began having serious trouble with one of the Thomas Payne recliner chairs. Called dealer to see if they would file a warranty claim based on our unusual situation. They filed and Keystone denied claim due to one year warranty. Decided to call Lippert Manufacturing who make this dual recliner. Told them our story about not being able to use RV until now. Asked us to send pictures and they would consider a goodwill warranty claim. About one hour after sending the pictures, we received an email saying they were going to honor the warranty and were shipping a new dual recliner to our house.
Just wanted to give a shout-out to Lippert for being so reasonable with their warranty. Thank you Lippert Industies for a positive customer experience.

Lippert is a great company. If you want to look at insurance that is more flexible try the Miller Agency. Millerrvinsurance.com
