Front cap light
So I bought a used 318RE and it has a LED light on the front cap but I cant find a switch to turn it on. Can anybody help enlighten me. (Pun intended)

On my 3820FK the switch is in the cabinet in the hallway. It's not labeled had someone go outside and watch while I started flipping switches.

Yeah, I flipped every switch I could find but still no light. I bench tested the light and it works so I know there has to be a switch somewhere.

If you mean the light above the hitch, it comes on when the door side scare light is on.

Turned on the scare lights and still power to the light. Next step is to remove the scare light and check the wiring.

Mine went out at just over a year, the power connection on the strip lites were corroded, had to replace the strip lites

The OP is talking about the small round light just above the pin box. That light is on the same circuit as large round clear light (scare light) on the door or passenger side of the rig.

Thanks for all the folks that responded to my query. I traced the wiring from the switch and found that the previous owners/repair persons had cut and taped the wire. All is well now. Thanks again for the help.

One side of my cap lights only lights about half the LEDs and it is a brand new camper! Not sure what is up with that.....

Typically if some of the LEDs are lit and some aren't, that means that the light assembly is bad.
