I have a 2000 2955 Montana 5th wheel That is in good shape has new awning new tires and no leaks had the roof resealed. Trying to see what it may be worth ? We are down grading wanting one that is shorter.

Also look at Craigslist and eBay for similar rigs.

For price checking I use Camping World. With all the outlets they have you can find something close somewhere in the US. I use them to check pricing, but I wouldn't buy anything from them.

What did you do to keep the outside looking so nice on a 20 year old unit?

Look it up on NADA and price it slightly above their midrange. Don't expect to get full upper value as it will be a CASH sale (too old to finance). But you should expect to get at least the lower end of the NADA value.

Remember the buyer doesn't place any sentimental value on your camper. Accept that it is only worth what the market will bear and let it go at that.

Depends how fast you want to sell it. If you ask a lot you have to find the right person. I sold my 2004 36 foot Montana looked just like yours for $5000.00. I live in New Hampshire and someone drove from Florida to buy it from me.

My suggestion as well. Unfortunately it will always be worth to you than someone is willing to pay you for it.

The market demand is hot right now, especially for used RV's. I would overprice a bit and see what kind of interest you have. You can always lower the price.

We just bought a 2004 297 RKS in Washington state for $10,500.00. They were asking $12,000 for it. It has brand new carpet and so far everything works great. The decals are pealing of course. Hope that helps.
