Sofa bed air mattress
I've got an '09 2955.
We're back from a couple short trips and a 5 week maiden voyage.
The air mattress on the sofa bed slowly collapses overnight.
It's done it 3 times, if it was adults instead of our grandkids it would have been a serious problem.
There's no sign or sound of leakage and nothing obviously wrong. We switch the control to the off position after inflating and the manual drain is not leaking.
Anyone out there aware of problems with these inflatable sofa mattresses?

Nope, no problem with mine - a little over one year of moderate use (grandkids). Might be leaking back through the pump. And I would double check that main air outlet...

At the foot of the air mattress is a "relief" valve. First time out, DW was sleeping on it and I was snoring in the BR. She inflated it 3 times then decided to sleep on the floor. I got up the next morning to her rendition of what happened. I reached down and tightened the relief valve and everything has been fine since.
I still laugh about it - and so does she.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not sure I understand how to tighten the relief valve.
Is that the one at the foot of the bed that can be used to manually inflate/deflate?
How would you tighten the valve? Mine just has a little yellow
in/out valve to inflate/deflate and I've made sure it's completly
closed by excercising it a few times.
My DW thinks she's jinxed by inflatable beds!

Good news!
My dealer, Don's RV in Ceres, Ca, agreed that the air mattress
won't hold air and is ordering a new replacement from Montana.
Thanks for all your input.

Space between Wall and Sofabed when it is open?
Hey I have a 2011 Montana High country 343RL 5th wheel. When I pull the sofa out to make a bed there is a space between the wall and end of bed frame The original air mattress did not come with my purchase I slept on it using a regular air mattress and my head and top of air mattress kept falling in that space Did the original air mattress come with a thicker part to fill that space or am I missing something? Doesn't seem like the bed frame can be push in to the wall

My 2013 Mountaineer has a big space at the top where your head goes. The only way to use it is to make sure the mattress is pumped up good. Mine started doing the slow leak thing too. When home I checked it with soapy bubbles and found a leak at the seam. Tried several ways to patch it to no avail. Bought a new mattress now.
