Keyless Entry

We have a new 3121 that we would like a keyless lock for the entry door. The dealer said there is not one available. I called Keystone Customer Service and they said I would need to contact a lock company. Does anyone have a recommendation for us! We appreciate your help.

Do you personally have one and if so do you recommend a certain brand?

My Montana is in an indoor storage. Is your lock you got this model: RVLock V4? I'm wanting to order one without having to drive to the storage yard.

I ordered this one:
https://www.rvlock.com/products/rvlock-v4mini-right-hand-w-integrated-keypad-for-rvs
As long as you know what yours look like they have a very simple fitment guide.

RVLocks are great - Had one for 4 years - only thing I have had to do is replace the keypad number piece - Not the keypad, just the plastic sheet with the numbers and it just clips on. Really great and it has a remote. Easy install!

That was the thing that impressed me most with these folks. They have every part imaginable to repair your lock if necessary.

Picture of lock and handle

This is what our door handle looks like. Our door lock and handle is longer than the RV lock so I am not sure if it will work.

We also have the new, vertical handle/lock. I have not found a keypad replacement. I emailed RVLock and they do not carry one,,,, yet.

Can't Recommend RVLock

We bought an RVLock based on the many YouTube reviews praising it. Unfortunately it seems many of those praises come immediately after receiving their unit for free...they stick it on and say it works great, but you rarely get a longer term follow up review, and even more rarely from someone who paid full price. Our experience was that while the unit functioned okay, its powder coat finish quickly began flaking. We contacted RVLock customer service and were rebuffed that this could not happen unless we were barreling down a gravel road peppering the handle with rocks...which they would not cover under warranty. I assure you we drive our rig gently, and have been stationary during most of the installed time. There is no chipping anywhere on the sides of our rig. Further the flaking is occurring on the inside handle as well. After my wife posted her dissatisfaction on Facebook, RVLock did grudgingly send us a replacement handle. So I can't recommend them based on their customer service attitude. Otherwise the lock works okay, but for the price, if I had it to do over I would choose another brand.
