Off to Alaska!

Today is the day that we start our five month trip to Alaska. We will be stopping in Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska to visit family during June. In July we will spend several days at Flathead Lake for R & R before entering Canada. August will be spent in Alaska before we reenter the USA in September. Then it's a drive down the Columbia River valley, the Oregon Coast, and on to the Rally. We'll end up visiting family in Arizona, Texas, and Tennessee before returning to Alabama, Lord willing. Hope to see some of you on the road.

First of all, have a happy birthday, Judy! Second, I know you said you are starting the trip a day early. Looking at your itinerary, will the entire trip be different by one day or will you spend an extra day somewhere and get back on that schedule or is that yet to be determined? In other words, if I can figure this out I'll pencil in the changes on the itinerary.

In any case, you folks have a wonderful and safe journey!

It will just be one more day here at Seven Points east of Nashville, a good day of relaxation before starting the grandparenting 'duties'. A much needed rest, I might add. It is quite a task to get the house and trailer ready for a very long trip. Probably is much like getting ready for fulltiming. And it's so good to be able to relax.
