Okay, before we started heading south for the winter (we're now in DC), I wanted to replace all of the steel screws and washers that support the underbelly with stainless because the OEM ones are rusted horribly. While doing this replacement, I also scraped off rust and repainted the frame. Now, I don't blame Keystone at all...every penny adds a dollar to the end cost of our units.
While replacing some 75 screws and washers, I said to myself: self, why don't you take this opportunity to add something to the 5er? So, Kathy and I did - we added an LED driving light (one of a pair from Advance Auto Parts) to illuminate the steps. The switch is in the main control panel that also houses the slide switch and the kitchen, porch and scare light switches. We haven't figured out where to put the other LED driving light yet, but stay tuned...
