Replace Flooring Kitchen Slide

I have 2006 3400RL. I am planning on replacing the carpet with the wood look 6 inch wide rubber/vinyl slats from Home Depot. The slides in the living area rise above the floor as they slide in and out. The new slats will be installed over the linoleum floor in the kitchen. My concern with the install is the kitchen slide. This slide slides in and out straight across the floor. The slide does not rise when coming in, until the last 4 or 5 inches. The slide is pretty tight to the floor now and the new slats are approximately 1/8 inch thick. The major concern is the leading edge of the slat and the slide grabbing the slat and tearing the floor.

I am not sure there is an adjustment for this slide that will raise the bottom of the slide.

I would appreciate any feedback anyone may have in replacing the floor.

we have a 12 3580rl I ripped all the carpet out of last year slides included and put the stuff in you are talking about. I ran a bead of liquid nail around all the walls and edge of slides. on the dining slide I let it hang over a few inches for the flap. on the entertainment slide I used fluted stain grade trim on the face nailed and glued. I plan on doing the bedroom this winter during a break. It has held up real good and wife loves it.

Kitchen slide

Update on earlier post. The bottom of the kitchen slide rides across the existing floor very tightly. For me to add the 1/8 inch flooring, I must figure out how to raise the bottom of the slide up 1/4 of an inch to allow the new floor to be installed. Has anyone adjusted the kitchen slide on a 3400RL, mine is a 2006.

The stuff we used from hd was very thin so no adjustments were necessary
