My Monty is Sick!!

Yes, our Monty is feeling bad.
I hooked it up today to take it to a body shop for some minor repairs and it feels neglected, left out, puny, downright sick. First of all the owners have neglected to go camping with it so far this year at all. One day back in March it got the lines flushed out and that’s been it. The owners have found a distraction that has kept them away from camping. They moved into a much newer S&B that is their dream home. As a result the Monty has sat all by itself alone and was observed to have even been throwing a pity party on itself once.

Since our move into the S&B the Monty hasn’t been plugged into electric much at all. When I went to move it today I had to hook up the electric just to operate the jacks. The front jacks have become unleveled with each other but both continue to operate. It’s not from the adjustments on the legs but the main shaft is at a different height. I’ll have to investigate that later on after I get it back. I found a dead mouse inside the kitchen and noticed that unpleasant smell where it had been there obviously for a few days. It hasn’t been washed and the tears from its sadness have left black streaks in a few places down the side.
Hopefully it will pull out of this sick spell and come back to a normal life style it’s used to before much longer. I don’t know how much more it can take.

We’re possibly looking at our first camping trip at the August rally. We have nothing else scheduled before then.

We’ve had rather large fires in the back yard burning up old trees and wood. The smell of camping has been in the air. We gazed out across our back yard this morning and saw 2 wild turkeys with their little chicks following behind. In the other corner of the yard we watched 3 deer work their way across from one side to the other. We’ve seen several rabbits and another varmint or two including a big black snake. I know I showed a photo some time back with a snake on my shoulders but I despise snakes and I don’t like them.

Here are some photos of our S&B we moved into.

Sounds like you need to at least camp in it in the back yard Bill. If I had that luxury, I would jump on it. In my case, it would look weird camping at the mini-storage?? We are thinking of going to the KOA for a four day weekend in the next couple of weeks if you are interested! Leave the mice in the barn though, or at least get a barn cat!!

To be enjoying your S&B "Dream Home" is not a bad thing. I think your Monty will get over it, given enough time. Congratulations on the S&B!

This is a good problem, enjoy the turkey crossings at the S&B and innoculate the Monty with a short camping trip.

After a few years of boating, our boat became a "yard boat". Sounds like your Monty may be headed down that path.

RVs are like wives, they require regular attention and care.

Very nice, Bill. VERY NICE. Enjoy it. BTW, please don't forget to bring your Cornhole Game to the Mid-Atlantic rally. I really enjoyed playing at the last Great Lakes Rally.

Most definitely it stays ready in the storage compartment all the time.

It's been fixed and I think it’s going to make it!
Don't have an after photo of the scar but you can't tell where it was at.

Here’s a view from my computer room. Just got the Monty back yesterday after having the body work completed on it and also got a few of the peeling graphics replaced that needed it.
Things are starting to look up!
