Dometic Refridgerator In winter

After 4 days of sub zero temps here in Idaho, my Dometic RM2862 quit working. The cooling unit was replaced 4 months ago. It will not work on either gas or electric. The electric heating element is working and the propane will ignite. So it is not the heating source. Everything is well ventilated. All signs point to no circulation in the cooling unit. I was reading online that it is possible for the fluid in the cooling unit to "gel" and not allow for flow at such extreme temps. I also read that the ammonia in the system would not freeze until -80 degree temps. Has anyone else heard of this?? I am trying to avoid taking it in to the dealer again if I can help it. Thank you so much for any input.

Maybe it's colder in the rig than the frig gets so the control thermostat says the heck with it and doesn't light anything.

The element is heating properly. I tried it for about 6 hours today and checked it frequently. It stayed trying to heat the ammonia, but never cooled the fridge or freezer. I even tried to "trick" it by removing the sensor from the fins inside the refridge to keep it on. It is still just as warm as it was in the fridge/freezer.

I did a bit of reading about absorption refrigeration and it seem to me the the water in the system may have frozen or you may hay have lost refrigerant. Here is a diagram that I looked at.

Maybe it will help some.
