Auxiliary Fuel Tank Question

I bought a newer Ford diesel dually this past spring and find its fuel tank a tad on the small side compared to my old 7.3. What have some of you done as far as added fuel capacity? If you went with the in-bed tanks ... did you tap into the filler neck going to the OEM tank or do you pump it in? My issue to start is I have an extended cab (not a crew cab) long bed which nearly eliminates any under the bed replacement tanks available save one manufacturer. If you gravity feed from your in-bed tank, have you ever run into any LEO issues during travels?
Thanks in advance for your info.
