Unofficial count....

Just took an unofficial count from the "Great Lakes Rally" thread (72 replies) and have a total of 34 rigs. Now granted we are still a long way off from September and this number can and will change. Within the "Great Lakes Rally" thread alone there are many saying they will be there for sure and a number that are still not entirely sure but either way 34 is a significant number for a regional rally. That is 1/2 of last years total attendance and we still have over 3 months for that number to grow as big as or bigger than last year.

Just for information sake....

The Great Lakes rally will be Sept 8th thru the 11th.
Montana factory tour will be on September 10th.
Will be held at Pla-Mor Campground

Glenn: Your count only includes the folks that have responded and posted that they are going to attend. Since I didn't post that we were going I guess you should include us also. The good lord willing and the creek doesn't rise, we should be there.

Hello there,

We will post an official count soon. Dick and I were on vacation so I'm catching up at work now. I think Glenn is pretty close on the number though.

Wanted to give you the correct dates

The Rally for the Great Lakes Regional will be held in Goshen/Bremen, Indiana.

The dates are:
Arrival on Thursday, September 8, 2005
Check out on Wednesday, September 14, 2005.

Have a good day everyone, I'm off to work for now.

Patty

Glenn: N/A is hot. It probably freaked out when it saw that McAllen, Tx. was cooler than it was in Kingston, Ontario.

Anyone besides me notice that the Great Lakes rally will be as big or bigger than the one in Reno.
As I said before, it's location, location, location.

Still trying to figure out what happened to the 125 rigs that voted for Reno.
Last count they only had 19 signed up.

Yes I have wondered the same thing. If they voted for it they should sign up for it. I could see where maybe a few would back out but not that many. They still have time to sign up. Hoping next year it is a little closer to this area.

Excellent question! Where are all these folks? Time to get signed up. If you voted for Reno for the International MOC Rally then you need to get your info and money into FireTruckerWife ASAP.

It would appear that many of the people attending Reno are from the West also.

It should be back in Indiana next year. Last year we pretty much decided we would return to Indiana at least every other year for the International MOC Rally.

I'll tell you it's a whole lot easier for my wife and I to go to Indiana than Reno. I didnt vote for Reno. I think I voted for North Carolina but hey thats water under the bridge. For a lot of us east coasters and Florida folks making a trip to Reno is a long haul trip. And, for some it's a minimum two week, with many a three week venture. Some of us can do it others still work and just can't but for sure the ones that voted for Reno should be signed up or in the process of signing up for the event.

You can count on us to be at the next one if it is in Indiana.

Hi Jeff,
You're absolutely correct only reverse if for all us west coasters.... that process works both ways. But where are all those 125 folks that voted for Reno? The more the merrier.... but even if only 2 of us show up we're gonna have a great time! It's all about the getting together. For those of you on the "line" about coming or not.... Hey... take a chance.... gamble a little. (puns intended)

Come on out to Reno for a great time and some beautiful country... all in addition to meeting some nice folks.

And I hope we have the International MOC Rally somewhere near the factory area again next year. Every other year or so makes sense to me. And now that we've got so many Regional meetings taking place it makes sense to rotate the IMOC Rally around to each of the regional areas.

See you in Reno.

HamRad,
A little off topic but I wanted to let you know that when I click on your "Where are we?" link I get a page that pretty much states you are missing in action. It states you haven't been heard from in over 10 days. ???

Dennis, are you having a little trouble knowing where you are so that you need to have it turned on so you can find yourself?
