drain valves

I posted this question a couple of weeks ago, but can't find it or any responses, so I am asking again.
there are two plastic valves on the left side of the water convience center that go through the floor to the outside. What are they for, what do they drain?

Thanks

They are your low point drains. They are used to drain the waterlines before you winterize, whichever way you do that, or if your full time like us they never get used.

I live in Southern California, and even though some overnights have gotten to 20 degrees or lower, I have never used these low point drains for draining purposes. When my rig was parked in my driveway for most of the year (sat idle, only hooked up to electric on occasion) I opened each valve once and a little bit of water came out and that was it for me. Like DQDick alludes, now that I fulltime, I don't even look at them.

If you lived or stayed where winterizing is the norm, then you'd probably use them a lot.

Thanks for the info everybody. We are full timers, I guess that is why I didn't know what they were used for.
