Emergency Window Bracket Hardware

Does anyone know where I can get the emergency window hardware for a 2013 frameless window? It is the piece that connects to the window to the end of the handle. It snapped off. The problem is that everything is riveted together. Man, I'd hate to buy a whole window! Right now I have the window taped down on the outside but it bounces open while traveling. Thanks much, Tony

astrungis, I don't know which emergency window hardware broke off on yours, but our left/lower/rear one broke off on ours at the beginning of this trip. I looked at the cheap aluminum handle/hardware and it looked to me like the whole window would have to be replaced. I could be wrong and probably am. I drilled small holes and used three wire ties to secure it from the inside until I can get it into a local dealer next week. I am still under factory warranty though.

Just wondered if you got your part and replaced it. For $13.00 I am considering doing this repair myself instead of pulling my Montana 50 miles to dealer and back for warranty work.

Good information. I intend on putting this in my favorites just in case mine breaks also. Easier to do it yourself instead of dragging it to dealer for fixing.

Actually after writing my reply I found the part on Marakios.com too. I needed a basement door holder that snapped off (found a stainless steel one on the same site) and ordered the 2 parts for the same shipping. It took 2 quick days - real fast. Tony

Actually it is http://www.makariosrv.com/ . Tony is spot on with the price $13.88 with shipping around $12. It was going to be $38.55 from www.parkin-acc.com and $9 shipping. Jim
