Is there an A/C already in your bedroom? If not ... usually but not always when you take the inside of the skylight out, there is a piece of panneling or cardboard to the side blocking the end of the ductwork ... it simply comes out to tie into the duct. If you already have an A/C that blows out into the bedroom ... you'll have to buy another inside difuser cover ($$) that is meant for ducted air. I can't answer the issue of a dual zoned thermostat.

Or it's already ducted ready to go ...
