You will need to install two rubber couplings in the drain line, one near the tank, one near the drain. The tank needs to flex, the rigid drain line does not allow the flex.. and it cracks the tank at the spud usually. You can repair the tank if you wish with a black tank repair kit from Amazon, around $40
