Tv signal issues
2016 Montana 3160rl, I’ve been having issues with weak cable tv signal to both the living room and exterior tv’s, which coincidentally are located in the same slide out. Bedroom tv works fine. So far I retightened all cable connections about bedroom tv at antenna booster, checked connections behind where the cable wire attaches to coach and removed the fireplace and checked splitter connection behind it. Does anyone know if there is a connection or splitter in the underbelly?

I wouldn't just retighten them. I would replace the connectors. The Amish craftsman haven't seemed to adequately grasp the technique to make a suitable coax cable.

Also, if the booster is on it will interfere with the cable signal to a certain extent.

I have the same trailer. Had similar issues. Brand new splitters that didn't work behind the fireplace. Then the screws that held the booster switch in the bedroom were too long. Actually piercing the coax causing grief. I never found a splitter in the underbelly. The coax from the bedroom to the splitter behind the fireplace had no splices/connectors.

Since I never use the antenna, I wonder if replacing the booster with a splitter would help?

The Booster is actually in the Antenna, what's inside is the power source that injects the power into the cable for the Antenna, plus a two way splitter for the output on the faceplate and the line headed towards the other TV. A two way splitter has 3 db of loss, which means it cuts the signal in half, now you have another splitter for the outside and living room TVs so the signal is again cut in half. So by the time the signal gets to those other TVs it's marginal at best.
I purchased a small inline amplifier from Winegard and installed it in the line for the Living Room & outdoor TV and greatly improved their reception.

You could bypass the booster just to see what happens to the signal. The system should work as designed. Except for satellite. That is another can of worms.

What you are calling the booster is nothing more than a splitter. The boost actually happens in the head of the antennae. If I were just looking for things to change I would replace it with exactly what is in it. That way if you end up somewhere with no cable you might still get OTA TV. I have helped lots of people with the antennae systems in their RV's. Have only found one problem in what you are calling the booster and that was not a signal problem but the switch to turn on the booster went bad.

I have a 2019 3931FB. We’ve been FT for almost a year w/o problems. It stared losing channels about a week ago. The problem is intermittent. We’re currently in the DFW area. This afternoon I had 40 channels. Tonight nothing, even after rescanning. The rig has the Furrion 4G ant. System. I’d appreciate any suggestions. I thought I’d try an external ant. connected directly to the TV and see if it’s in the ant/cabling or the TV.

I recently had a 'lesson' from our current cable company when they rewired our house. We were losing channels and occasionally the entire signal for TV, internet and the VOIP phone. It seems that the previous cable company had wired the house using RG59 mixed with some RG6 cable and way too many splitters. All of the RG59 coax was removed, a significantly large junction box added at the drop from the road and a new booster installed. He also reinstalled my much better WiFi router, saying that the cable company unit wasn't much of a unit
Hopefully, Keystone is still using RG6 cable as well as a minimum number of GOOD splitters. Our HC has RG6 from what I can see.

I think may not have a problem after all. I learned today I’m about 55 miles from the towers. I’m not sure the problem is the Furrion system.
