Congrats Vicki. I did the same thing recently. Ed was not feeling well and very dizzy. We had to change campgrounds - mixup on reservations. I hooked up, pulled out of the CG (1 right turn, 2 left turns), got on the freeway, dove about 25 miles, got off the freeway, made a left turn onto the street and another left turn to the CG and a right turn into the CG. Ed parked it. My heart was pounding but it was easier than I thought.
Happy trails........................

WOW, Vickie that's awesome! However, I knew you would be able to do it. Now, if only I could get the wheel away
from George, I hope I could do as well. You go girl!

Thanks for all the kind words. It wasn't nearly as awful as I thought it would be.

Sue ... way to go, girlfriend!!! You rock!

Way to go Vicki! I hope Steve told you about our Congrats from another thread we talked in. Mary also took the wheel coming across I-80 and did a really good job. Like Steve, I even took a little nap while she was at the wheel!

Good Job Vicki, before you know it you'll be ready to solo! Tell Steve to MAKE you drive often, even if it is just for an hour or two. It is amazing how it helps the confidence. It was great seeing you at the Rally this year! Terrie

Way to go, Mary!

My "plan" was to put the seat back and lay back and relax, even closing my eyes. I thought it would be less stressful for Vicki than if I were sitting up critically watching every move. However, I had not planned on dozing off. It just happened! She must have been doing a good job if I was able to relax enough to fall asleep.

GO VICKI!!!! Now you can make pit stops on your terms. I am always so glad to hear when someone tries something they haven't done before.
