Gas Oven Going Out After Lighting

Have a 2019 Montana 3121RL -

After lighting the oven it keeps cutting off. Then I have to re-light it again. Any ideas why?

Hold the knob in longer before moving it to on position.

Also run the stovetop burners to ensure all of the air is out of the line.

Do not turn the oven to the off position. Leave the oven in the pilot position and the pilot will stay on.

The late model ovens use electronic ignition - there is not a pilot position.

Ditto on air in the line, we always purge it with the stove top.

We had the same issue. What has been working for us, we leave the oven door open for the first 30 seconds to a minute.

I have the same issue with my 2020 3121rl with furrion oven. The pilot will light and stay on but if the burner is turned on it runs for 3-4 min then goes out. I just got it back from getting a valve replaced because it took 2 1/2 hrs to reach 300 degrees. It’s almost like the fan is blowing the flame out.

Our 2020 3121rl furion did the same thing
The dealer replaced the whole oven under warranty . The new one is different but works fine. It is the fan on the original that is the problem.

We have had the same problem. Only used it once. We have it at RV shop now. Bought a new ignitor, but not sure if that is the problem. Have tried purging line, keeping door open, and other suggestions. Be interested in hearing if anyone gets it fixed and what it was - besides having to replace whole oven.

We have a 2019 Montana 3121RL with the exact identical problem. We’ve tried all of the suggestions in your previous responses above but haven’t changed the oven as one suggested or had too. In that we use the convection microwave normally as our oven we’ve learned that when we do use the oven we just relight It least once, or twice as required as our normal procedure. The only good thing is that at least it has an igniter and I don’t have to lay on the floor with a lighter to light or relight it. Please advise if you ever find a solution beside changing the oven because we’re obviously out of warranty.

Sometimes the heat sensor for the pilot light is a little too far away from the flame. I have done minor adjustments successfully before. May have to bend things a little.

One of the techs said they have replaced several of the ovens because of the same problem. He said the only thing the fan in the oven was good for was to blow the flame out

Oven

There is a thermo coupler that looks like a thermometer In the oven. It has to warm up before the gas valve will stay on. Keep holding in the pilot lighting button longer. If that doesn’t work your thermocoupler could be bad.

Its like lighting a gas water heater in a house
