Need a little help from my friends..
What would you say are the items we replace often in our rigs? Things like sliding closet door catches, rocker or 120 volt paddle switches, items like that.
I am putting together MOC items for special pages in my catalog.

I'll give it more thought, but toilet seals seem to be popular. Oh, yes and the proper size and type of light bulbs would be good.

Those plastic round attic vent caps that no one seems to stock ... plastic clip that holds the water heater door in place ... door latch for the main entry door that holds it back against the side.

Assuming I make your friend's list... ... I'm guessing you are referring to items that should NOT have to be replaced and should have lasted longer than they did. In my rig I have replaced or repaired the 12v toggle switch for the underhang light near the pin, a propane bottle (couldn't refill), a 15/20 amp circuit breaker (bed/bath circuit), suspension shackles (converted to wet bolts), two day/night shades and Mission Tires all within the first 3 years of ownership. I also had a major refrigerator repair within the first few months of ownership.
I also had to adjust or fix other items that should not have been bad. These are the deadbolt for the entry door (would not latch correctly), interior molding reattached here and there, reglued compartment door weatherstipping here and there, applied resetting breaker fix for the slides.
Now, I'm getting ready to replace the batteries (and convert to 6v), replace the aging Marathons, and replace the hollow rubber seals around all the slideouts.
Not sure how many of these will make your catalog but best of luck with that.

Screen door latch, water heater door latch. Water heater cotter pin for on/off switch, and fresh water tank drain cap (these things are hard to keep track of).

Thank you Curtis, they do wear quickly.
Art, you are my Bud, no question. Actually, things wear out, car, boat, home. Keystone makes a quality product, but parts can't last forever. Any Rv maker has problems with their units, I wove my Montana

Mushroom roof vent caps, reset button covers for the hot water heater, grommets for the stove top, anode rod.

Those clear plastic clips that are designed to hold the sliding closet doors shut.
We are always replacing those.

I seem to be replacing the anode rod on a regular bases. And oh yes those little rubber grommets for the stove top. Joe

I hope not too Tom, it seems like they could make them out of different plastic, I will check around. We always have 2 sets in the drawer. I know folks use different means to keep them closed, but I like the catches.

I actually just located and purchased (2) metal screen door latches from Amazon. Very good quality and work great. Cost was $12 and change each.

How about the tanks dump valves and flexible sleeves to attach the same.....maybe even the automatic dump valves?
Also replacement wiper gaskets on the top and bottom of the shower door....

the latch on the sewer hose storage....
I drop my every time I open it.
I know some of you have done away with this unit -
send me the latch on the band.
