I was able to check on the trailer today and all is good. The high winds gusting to 50 mph combined with our trailer being the tallest unit in the line has blown most of the snow off the roof. A quick climb up the ladder revealed that the top of the a/c’s and the tops of the maxi vent covers are visible so only about a foot and a half on the roof. I did’t go onto the roof because I didn’t want to step on a vent cap or anything else hiding under the snow. Added bonus, the wind blew the snow under and away from the bottom so no snow even touching the sides except at the wheels and tires. All is good for now, thanks for the comments.

I can’t even imagine a 80 inch snow fall. Our average yearly snow is 15 inches. We did have a 30 inch snow years ago but that is only 3/8 as an 80 inch snow. I remember typing to struggle through that snow. You walk a ways then set down. The snow would make a chair just the right height.

It is very difficult to move in. I had to go out a few times to move snow away from my furnace intake and exhaust vent. Sink in up to my waist. Almost like swimming through it. I used snow shoes when I went around to a few of the neighbors places to help them out with that chore. One of local bowling alleys didn’t make it after being through a lot of years of lesser lake effect storms. The roof caved in.

That is great news. So glad all is well. I'm betting you'll sleep much sounder tonight.

I remember snow like that in northern Idaho when I was a kid. I was raised by my grandparents in the house they built with their own hands. They put a steep pitch roof on it so the snow would slide off and a "door to nowhere" in one gable end of the the attic. Actually had to use it once. The snow drifted so high it was up on the windows and left an imprint of the front door in it. That's me about two years old.
