Reattached fron cap accent lights

I have about 8" of accent light that has begun to come off. What is the easiest way to reattach these? Glue? Or caulking?

Liquid Nails (the original, not the stuff for "Projects" or Styrofoam). It will never come off. However, that will be a challenge if they quit working and you want to replace the lights.

Clear caulk is the best. Because, they will probably quit working again.

3M Auto Double Sided Tape.

Held ours on for nearly two years and many miles until I replaced them this winter.

Push it into a small bead of clear silicone caulk.

What Montana Man said ... clean everything good with alcohol or similar before you apply the silicone bead. A little tape to hold it in place helps while the silicone sets.

I also used clear silicone caulk and it worked fine. The 2 sided 3M automotive tape works good too.

I used clear GE silicone to re-attach my accent lights that I replaced this past November.

I cleaned the track with de-natured alocohol. Then a small beed of clear RTV and an extra dollup on the end to keep air from getting under the tip.
