Hello, everybody!

This is a wonderful website and we are so happy we found out about it - we just bought a 2006 2980RL, pulling with a 2003 F250 diesel - we are in San Antonio, TX and it has been COLD here! Can hardly wait until May when we take the Oregon Trail with TracksRV - that will be our longest trip - we are waiting for a lot in Benson, AZ at the SKP park, but will be a few years before we can get relocated - hope to meet ya'll on the road sometime!

Hello Chuck & Susan,

"Refocused" is a cool moniker. Welcome to the Forum. I see you have already discovered the value of it. Have they ever finished that construction through the center of town on I10 around the Alamo Dome? What a mess that used to be.

Congratulations on the rig. Sounds like you are really ready to go RVing. Hope the Monty beats your expectations. My Ford has done the job for me.

You have joined the BEST club there is. Lots of great people. Lots of knowledge - that goes bothways - your and ours. So take some and give some. Continue to jump right in like you have here.

Oregon Trail with TracksRV, that sounds like fun. You will really enjoy the Northwest.

Welcome aboard! I don't know where that tour will begin but the Oregon Trail begins about 3 blocks from the RV Park we currently are in in Independence, MO (KC area). We won't be here in May, however.

Tour starts in St. Charles, MO right ourside of St. Louis and ends at Mt. Hood, OR - will take 33 days - after reading some of the stuff that can go wrong with the rig we hope we make it!

Refocused, Welcome to the MOC Forum. Spent 14 years in SA and have a son born there. Lived in a little town called Marion, near Schertz, in '86 when we left and went to England (AF). Hope to visit there again real soon.

Just west of Mt. Hood, in a suburb of Portland, OR, is the museum of the oregon trail. There also is a marker in the ground marking the official end of the Oregon Trail. Sounds like a terrific tour. Enjoy.
