Cost to replace awning fabric

Can anyone give me an idea what it should cost to replace the fabric on a 16’ awning? I’d like the replacement to have the metal shield. Mechanism is in good shape.

Looks like material will run around $30/yard and 4-5 hours of labor. Labor is around $70-$120/Hour (depending who is doing the work). My dealer is $115/hr. So, around $1000 (plus or minus). That isn’t personnel experience, just doing internet pricing. Good luck.

We have an awning (fabric) on order. We’ll take the RV in when the shop receives the fabric. The awning is 19ft long. The estimate is just under $500 installed. Pretty evenly split between material and labor.

We had one done at Q a couple of years ago by Shade Pro. Was $900, but that was with a really tough fabric and came with a nice "free" hat. Since we turned around and bought a new one that summer I sure hope the new owner appriciates it

A few years back I replaced an 16' A&E/Dometic fabric. It was less then $200 and it took me with a few minutes of help from a neighbor, maybe an hour of work to replace it.

You may not be able to install that metal protector without replacing or modifying the trailer side awning rail along with a bunch more dollars.
