Replacing the skylight in the shower

I am replacing the skylight(dont ask why ) and after receiving the new one, it came with a tube of butyl caulk to seal it.

Should I use this tube of butyl caulk? or use Dicor Lap Sealant?

THANKS!!!

I've always gone with the Dicor. I understand it and it goes well with the roof.

I replaced our sky-light once, I moved to the other side of a country road to go around a jogger and hit a low tree limb! I guess that was much better for the jogger!
I vote Dicor for the finish sealant. I really like how it self-levels after applying.
